Why us

Why Dorking homeowners choose Top Tier Roofing

Dorking has Victorian and Edwardian villas with clay tiles and tall chimneys around the town centre, older cottages in Westcott and Brockham, and post-war semis and bungalows on the edges of town. Moss, slipped tiles and tired flashings are the usual jobs. We fix what has actually failed and put the price in writing first.

Properly local, 10 years in the trade

We live and work in the same towns we serve. We know the local housing stock and which jobs give trouble round here. No franchise, no subcontractors shipped in from elsewhere.

Fixed price before we start

Your written quote is the price you pay. We itemise every cost upfront. No "while we're here" extras, no surprise invoices when the job is done.

Same-day callback, every time

Call or fill in the form and someone rings you back the same day. We confirm a visit date on that first call. No chasing, no voicemail loops.

Fully insured, paperwork ready

Public liability and employer's liability insurance in place on every job. We can email certificates before work starts, so there's no chasing needed.

FAQ

Common questions

How quickly can you come out?

For active emergencies we usually get someone out the same day or next morning. Standard quote visits are typically within 2-3 working days, scheduled at a time that suits you.

Is the quote really free? Will you pressure me to book?

Yes, completely free, with no hard sell. We give you a written quote and follow up once and that's it. Most of our customers compare a few quotes; we're happy to be one of them.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full public liability and employer's liability insurance. We're happy to email a copy of the certificate before any work starts. Just ask.

What does your 25-year guarantee on new roofs cover?

Every new roof we fit, pitched or flat, comes with a 25-year guarantee on our workmanship, in writing. If something goes wrong because of how we fitted it, we come back and put it right at no cost. Repairs are priced in writing with photos before we start, and we explain what is covered for your job on the quote.

Do you work outside Dorking?

Our core area is Dorking, Reigate, Redhill and surrounding villages. We can occasionally take jobs further afield, but it's best to call and check.

Do I need to pay anything up front?

For repairs, no. You pay on completion once you're happy. For larger jobs we ask for a materials deposit once the job is booked, then the balance on completion.
